How we do business
Credit/Debit Card on collection, we will take cash but prefer card payment.
We do not need a deposit – your equipment is your deposit. If parts for your repair are expensive we may call you to you and ask for funds to cover the parts cost.
Insurance for fire/theft/flood etc is your responsibility, Your household insurance will normally cover your equipment for any of the above while it is with us. You may want to check your policy. The reason for this is insurers in general do not do policies to cover your equipment whilst it is with a repairer, don't ask why they just don't.
Slow payers, and/or slow to collect
Once your equipment repair is completed you must collect it as soon as possible, at least within THREE MONTHS otherwise we reserve the right to sell it or otherwise dispose of it and/or take you to court to recover costs. There is very limited space in the workshop so it is therefore not in the interests of our other customers to keep uncollected repairs.
No fix, no fee
If for any reason we are not able to fix your equipment we will not charge you.
Our guarantee to you
We do things correctly. We guarantee the repair we have charged you for has been completed to a good standard. We have used parts that are of good quality. That the work carried out will not fail through any fault of ours. We took all reasonable care to make sure we did not damage any other parts of the equipment whilst repairing the original faults, and that if we have failed you in any of these ways we will put it right free of charge, if you bring the equipment back to us. But do remember that equipment, especially old equipment that has not been used for a long time, may well develop different faults once we have got it running again, that of course is another repair and further charge.
